Find a Promoter and a Venue
If you have a show you would like to bring to ICF, you need to find an approved promoter willing to put your show on.
Every venue at the Independent Comedy Festival will be working with a promoter; there are several different promoters who are booking venues at the festival. Each promoter will work on a different business model, so it’s important that you find the promoter that is right for you.
You will need to apply to a promoter and arrange a date and time with them for your show to take place in accordance with their booking policy and model. Each promoter will have their own booking process and application system. See below the promoters that are taking open applications.
To be included in the festival, your show must be at a venue that is working with one of the approved promoters.

Monster Comedy operates a PWYW model with the audience given the opportunity to buy a ticket in advance between £5-£12.50 or ‘Pay What You Want’ on the door. To apply you will need a show image, title and blurb. Please include any quotes, accolades and awards in your blurb.

Register Your Show
Once you have agreed a date and time with an approved promoter, you are ready to register your show.
Registrations will open Week Beginning 14th September. There is a fee for registering your show, this fee covers the cost of listing your show in the festival brochure and our website, your inclusion in official festival marketing and the administration of the official festival box office.

The ICF was established in early August following the collapse of Leicester Comedy Festival and this software was built very quickly. It is still a work-in-progress, so please be patient with it!

Registration fees for ICF 27 will be as follows:
Registration for a show in venue with capacity <150
Registration for a show in venue with capacity >150
Registration for a show in venue with capacity >300
There is a Multi-Show Discount for shows that take place more than once, with a discount of £10 on the first performance, and a further discount of £20 on the second performance, with a minimum show fee of £40 on performances of a show in <100 Capacity Venues. The multi-show discount is intended for artists who are performing a show or shows they have produced themselves more than once. If you are registering shows on behalf of someone else, you will be invoiced for the difference.
